There are worlds born from loss — and shaped by imagination.
On April 19, at 4:00 PM, Story Owl hosts the presentation of Cianita Negra by Patrícia Almeida, a story of magic, destiny, and self-discovery.
We follow Kiara, a young girl who, after losing her father, enrolls in the Serenyall School of Magic to fulfill her destiny. But what she believed to be the beginning of a new path soon becomes a confrontation with her past — and with a power she does not recognize as her own.
Amid bonds, betrayals, and an approaching threat, Kiara must discover who she truly is — and how far she is willing to go to protect those she loves.
Born from a passion for fantasy and written during a turning point in the author’s life, Cianita Negra marks the literary debut of a writer who builds worlds as a form of expression and resilience.
A conversation that invites you into a universe where magic reveals more than it conceals.
Born and raised in a small village in Viseu, Patrícia Almeida quickly developed a passion for reading, particularly fantasy. She holds a degree in Languages and Editorial Studies from the University of Aveiro and currently works as a Portuguese teacher. When she is not writing about fantasy worlds and romantic relationships, she can be found reading about them.
She deepened her interest in writing during a more sensitive period of her life, when she felt the need to retreat into a world of fantasy — giving rise to her first work, Cianita Negra.
