Moss, Burnet and Cumulus are ancient, tiny beings who have long lived within the natural world. When their ash-tree home is destroyed, they begin a journey through countryside and city in search of others like themselves.

With help from birds and animals, they look for a way to survive. Melissa Harrison’s children’s adventure explores friendship, resilience and the importance of protecting the living world.
