Rory Morris returns to her hometown to support her pregnant twin sister, despite the memories she hoped to leave behind. After a night out and a frightening encounter on the road, she survives an attack that begins to transform her life.

Unusual strength, a reaction to silver and the pull of the moon suggest that something far stranger is happening to her. Rachel Harrison combines horror, humour and complicated relationships as Rory confronts the changes and what they might mean for those around her.
