Two Weeks Notice (2002) is a romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock. The story follows Lucy Kelson, an idealistic lawyer who works for billionaire George Wade, a spoiled boss who depends on her for everything, from legal decisions to choosing his shirt. Tired of being treated like a personal assistant, Lucy hands in her resignation with two weeks’ notice — a period during which, while training her replacement, she realises that the relationship between them is more complex (and more tender) than she thought.

The film blends light humour, a clash of values and a romance that grows precisely when it seems they’re about to go their separate ways.
