Letters to Juliet (2010) is a romantic comedy that follows Sophie, a young American travelling through Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet. When she visits the famous wall where people leave love letters addressed to Juliet, Sophie finds a lost letter written decades earlier by Claire and decides to reply.

When Claire returns to Italy to search for her long-lost first love, Sophie joins her and her grandson, Charlie, on a journey through the Italian countryside in search of Lorenzo, the man Claire left behind. Between idyllic landscapes, missed encounters and conversations about past and future loves, the film explores the idea of second chances, love that stands the test of time, and the choices that can change a life.
