Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), directed by Tim Burton, is a gothic horror musical that tells the story of Benjamin Barker, a barber unjustly convicted who returns to London under the name Sweeney Todd to take revenge on those who destroyed his life.
With the help of Mrs. Lovett, the owner of a nearby pie shop, Todd turns his barbershop into a stage for vengeance and madness — where victims mysteriously disappear, and meat pies become unexpectedly popular.
