Há precisamente um ano, andávamos pela Irlanda a descobrir livrarias, folklore irlandês, paisagens épicas e florestas de (contos de) fadas. Foi uma viagem marcante pela sua beleza, mas também por termos levado connosco o sonho de abrir a nossa própria livraria-café em Portugal e de termos trazido a inspiração para concretizá-lo.Foi nesta viagem que surgiram muitas ideias para a Story Owl, mas também para histórias que agora se contam no nosso palco, como é o caso da Floresta das Fadas, que alguns já ouviram no nosso Story Owl After Dark. 😌Viajar é, sem dúvida, um mote para sonhar e para sair momentaneamente de uma realidade onde, por vezes, nos esquecemos que os sonhos não têm de ficar pelo imaginário. E assim foi. 🍀—Exactly one year ago, we were wandering through Ireland, discovering bookshops, Irish folklore, epic landscapes, and (fairy-tale) forests. It was a memorable trip, not only for its beauty but also because we carried with us the dream of opening our own bookshop-café in Portugal—and we brought back the inspiration to make it real.It was during this journey that many ideas for Story Owl were born, as well as stories now told on our stage—like The Fairy Forest, which some of you have already heard at our Story Owl After Dark. 😌Traveling is, without a doubt, an invitation to dream and to momentarily step outside a reality where we sometimes forget that dreams don’t have to remain imaginary.
